In
celebration of the Fiscal Year, UAP Manila Corinthian Chapter conducted its
first activity entitled "Corinthian Kapihan: 1st GMM, Induction and
Turn-over Ceremonies' at Bistro Paleta, Taft Ave cor. Remedios St., last July
30, 2013.
With 75 members in attendance, the chapter witnessed the induction of 15 new members. No less than our National Treasurer Ar. Alfred Geoffrey C. Carandang conducted the Charging together National Auditor Ar. Mohammadsarfraz A. Uttoh and District Director Patrick N. Rodriguez. Chapter President Ar. Omar Palero officiated the Oath of Membership and Past Chapter Presidents Ar. Gabbie Cascante, Ar. Wilfredo Gacutan, fuap, Ar. Abe Relleve, fuap, and the Officers helped in the traditional pinning rites.

The
event was made extra special with the arrival of our Guest Speaker, the UAP
National President Ar. Rozanno C. Rosal, fuap who inspired and the challenge
the members with his news and extending his vision to this fiscal
year. He encourages all architect help in "Promoting the Practice,
Protecting the Profession and Serving the Members".
National
Executive Vice President Ar. Lora B. Rivera, fuap Charged the New Officers and National
President Ar. Rozanno C. Rosal officiated the Oath of Office.
Immediate
Past Chapter President Ar. Ludivico P. Idaño
gave his valedictory address highlighting the achievements for the chapter of
during his two-year term. Awards were given to the past Board of Officers as
well outstanding members. Regional B2 District Director Ar. Patrick N.
Rodriguez facilitated the Turn-over of Gavel followed by the inaugural speech
of Incoming Chapter President Ar. Omar C. Palero.
This
year’s vision is to be "More than the Usual Chapter of UAP" and
objectives and programs were presented towards this vision.
Also
discussed in the General Membership Meeting were the amendments to the Articles
of Incorporation of UAP and the line-up of activities for the coming months.
In
attendance were the members of the District Council and friends from other
chapters.
